Please ensure that any classroom treats (birthday/star student) that are sent in have a nutrition label/ingredient list on them. Many places have the ability to provide one upon request. Unfortunately we are not able to let them be handed out if they do not have a label. Please email the nurse at afichter@gpsne.org with any questions.
Please keep an extra set of clothes in your child's backpack. Spills and accidents happen and students tend to be more comfortable in their own clothes.
Our annual GES Sock Drive, put on by our Kindness Club, kicks off on Monday, October 13th and runs through October 24th. All the socks brought in are donated to Heartland Hope to assist those in need in our local community. Last year, we brought in over 2,400 pairs of socks as a school and want to try and beat that number this year! Please consider bringing in socks to help our school make a difference in many lives! The pk-2nd grade class and the 3rd grade-5th grade class that bring in the most socks will receive a prize from Kindness Club!
Help us meet our goal....we are still accepting candy donations for our 1st ever Trunk or Treat. Help us out by donating candy by using this link:
